Parents: Please don’t delay vaccinations, well-child visits of sports physicals

Pediatricians’ offices are open and prepared to keep you and your child safe. They are cleaning extensively and carefully scheduling appointments to accommodate these unique circumstances.

To help curb outbreaks of vaccine-preventable diseases, it’s important to stay on schedule with shots for kids of any age, from babies to teens.

Annual checkups are important, even for healthy kids. They allow pediatricians to monitor the growth, development, and mental and physical health of their patients.

When schools and sports resume, kids will need to be up to date on immunizations and physicals to meet school requirements.
